About Color In The Stillness (For Eliana)
No one expects the death of a newborn. When two of my dearest friends were struck by such a tragedy at the end of 2022, the words and flowers we sent felt insufficient to me. So I wrote this piece, quite quickly, and hired a few friends to record it for them. I’m told it brought them a tiny bit of comfort, and I hope that by making it public it might do that for others too.
